This is the walkthrough I promised in #1. No essay this time — just the instructions. Follow them and you’ll have your own personal AI infrastructure running on your home network in a weekend, maybe less.
I’m out walking with my two boys on vacation. I open Termius on my phone and ask Claude to brainstorm an idea I had. Termius taps into my MacBook Pro back at the hotel, and to an Nvidia DGX and Linux box that are all the way back at home in Atlanta.
That’s the end state: every computer you own becomes one private machine your agent lives on, reachable from your pocket, with zero ports opened to the internet. Here’s exactly how to build it.
What you’re building
Three layers, built in order:
The network — Tailscale joins all your machines into one flat, encrypted private mesh. ~1 hour.
The access layer — SSH aliases + Termius so you (and your agent) can reach any machine from anywhere. ~1 hour.
The agent — LifeOS on the always-on machine, taught about its own network. An afternoon.
